About the project
Persian Blues Sessions is an ongoing music project that sets classical Persian poetry to blues. Each track pairs the enduring words of poets like Mowlana (Rumi), Hafez, and Ferdowsi — public domain, unaltered — with original blues music and vocals generated using AI.
The project's aim is simple: bring centuries-old Persian literary heritage to today's listeners, letting the grief, defiance, and longing of classical ghazals and epics live again through a genre already rooted in hardship and storytelling.
Every poem is presented in its original Persian script, with an English translation of its theme for listeners unfamiliar with the language. New tracks are added regularly, each available across major streaming platforms.
